I am concerned about the possibility that, if I name my husband as the beneficiary, his ex-wife will be able to access MY life insurance money because of a quirky law we have that says he must claim any “significant non-income-producing assests” when they figure his child support obligation. $400,000 in cash sitting in the bank would qualify as a significant asset. This money is intended to secure MY family’s financial future should I die, not hers. My hope is that I can leave it all to my son, and have my husband be able to use it to pay the living expenses until he turns 18. Does anyone know if my husband would have any problems accessing the money whenever and for whatever he needed it?

They say the government will not let health insurance companies look at your genetic profile and reject insuring you. That seems fair to ordinary citizens. However, on the flip side there will probably be people who want to check their dna and so there will be people with genetic diseases purposingly signing up for insurance knowing that it’ll pay them back in the end.

Then the people without genetic problems are going to pay more because the insurance companies are dealing with those that are ill. I am ill myself, but my question isn’t about me. It’s just about how this law could work?

Unless you are a really bad driver car insurance is a total joke. I mean how many reckss does a person get into in his life time. im saying on average about 2 or 3. and if your paying 600 bucks or more every 6 months thats one thousand plus dollars a year. in 30 years you could buy your self a new mustang. It really makes no sense that its a law to have car insurance when you could just put 600 bucks in a savings account if you ever need it. I think the insurance companies should give us our money back every 10 years or so if we are good drivers

Bush Swartznager and about 1/2 the Republican Governers want a Law to force every American to buy Insurance.

So how is it all of a sudden this plan concieved by New Haven Bankers (that’s passive voice for Skull&Bones) Is Hillary’s plan.

Give Credit where Credit is due it’s Bush’s Plan

Let’s say you got a patient that gets test after test done, costing the insurance company thousands of dollars. Maybe he has a serious illness, maybe he’s a hypochondria, who knows. But this person is obviously a terrible customer from the Insurance company’s point of view. What’s to stop them from kicking off, say the top 1% worst customers? Is there a law or do they just refrain because it would result in bad PR. Thanks in advance!

my boyfriend is 20 years old. he is a full time college student and has no time for a job. he still lives with his mother because he’s saving up money to move out on his own. because he doesn’t have a job, he has no health insurance. when he turned 18, they took him off his mother’s health insurance. they have very little money in general. is there anywhere they can go to get support such as food, clothing, etc… and also as a full time student i would think he is liable for health insurance through his school - community college of rhode island (CCRI). your advice is greatly appreciated. thankyou :)
